The Ejari Smart app of Dubai Land Department recently introduced new services aimed at simplifying procedures. This move is in line with Smart Dubai’s objective to minimize customer visits by 80%, thus providing an easier way for landlords and renters to complete tasks remotely.Â

Through the app, both parties can renew and register leases and contracts as well as send them for authorization without the need for an agent or physical visit to an office. Consequently, renewing the lease of properties not managed by a licensed real estate company or those with expired Ejari has become more convenient.
